Paragon is seeking a Manager of Financial Planning and Analysis for its Ft. Worth, Texas headquarters. The position reports to the Chief Financial Officer. It is expected that the Manager of FP&A will demonstrate a strong sense of urgency for continuous improvement – what’s good enough today should serve as a foundation for what can be better tomorrow.
Responsibilities
- Manage the annual Budget and Strategic Plan processes
- Manage the quarterly rolling forecasts.
- Will work closely with the CFO and accounting team to analyze monthly results and prepare required analytical reporting for company leadership and Board of Directors
- Analysis of capital expenditure projects and of possible acquisition candidates
Qualifications
- Must have a MBA in Finance or Operations
- Five or more years of increasing responsibility in financial analytical positions within a manufacturing or construction environment required
- Strong analytic skills required
- Power-user skills with Microsoft Excel, and familiarity with analytical tools like PowerBI or Business Objects is a must
- An understanding of cost accounting is required, with background in project cost accounting preferred.
- Clear communication skills (both oral and written) and a high sense of intellectual curiosity are required.
- This is primarily an on-site position, although occasional flexibility can be accommodated.
- Some travel within the domestic USA (less than 10%) may be required.
